Happy Trails Art Start is an art program for kids impacted by foster care created in collaboration with Happy Trails for Kids and Mimi Jung. Our program provides a safe space where foster kids are encouraged to fully express themselves through visual art among peers who are experiencing similar challenges with foster care. Our goal is to create an environment where they feel heard, encouraged and genuinely supported so they can reach their full potential.

This initiative is hosted in Mimi Jung's Los Angeles studio, and consists of monthly classes focusing on general art studies, which will help set up the kids should they want to pursue an education and/or career in art. Our goal is to help create pathways, tools and a vision for these children to leverage their skills and to open the door to more opportunities.
