Kevin Kelleher is a Trainer Manager in Training, Process, and Strategic Development for Nielsen. Based in San Francisco, he has spent over 25 years building and honing his business skills in sales, sales training, sales management, process development, mentoring, and training management. In addition to being bilingual in Spanish and English, Kevin is a certified Nielsen Mentor for Manager and Trainer Associates and a certified Situational Leadership and Crucial Conversations Trainer.

To lay the foundation out for his future career, Kevin Kelleher attended Brigham Young University and obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and International Relations. Afterward, he went on a mission for the LDS Church to Houston, Texas, and served the Hispanic population of southern Texas. His ability to speak Spanish facilitated his time on this mission, allowing Kevin to better communicate with the community and help them where needed. Being able to assist this community was a fulfilling experience.

Kevin Kelleher has been in the sales business since 1996. He takes great pride in the work he has accomplished over the years, taking advantage of every job opportunity to work on and improve his professional skills for both himself and his employers. He gives his all to each position he works in, wanting to showcase himself at his peak. Kevin Kelleher has seen people develop and grow through his work and training—something that sparks great joy within him. Seeing them succeed reflects on his own work, so to know that he helped these people grow professionally makes him immensely proud.

Since 2007, Kevin Kelleher has been an employee of Nielsen. He started out as a Corporate Field Trainer and Membership Training Specialist, designing and facilitating end-to-end training processes for new and existing employees while partnering with management and senior leadership to provide strict adherence to policy, procedure, and methodology within the US Field Organization. In 2009, he was awarded the Sharon Guthrie award by Nielson, marking him as company trainer of the year.

After that roll, Kevin was promoted to Membership Sales Manager and made responsible for managing ten of the company’s designated local TV markets across the country. He was also responsible for hiring, performance, and the development of sales representatives and trainers. Most recently, Kevin Kelleher entered the position of Trainer Manager in Training, Process, and Strategic Development. In this role, he manages a team of national corporate trainers and instructional content designers, focusing on the needs of their in-field sales staff. He also managed the redesign of Nielsen’s new hire learning path.
