Marie-Astrid Langer is the U.S.-correspondent for NZZ, a 240-year old Swiss daily newspaper of record and one of the leading German-speaking publications. Based in Silicon Valley, she covers emerging technology trends as well as political feature stories across the United States. Previously, she was an editor for NZZ in Zurich responsible for U.S. domestic politics.
In 2015, she was the Arthur F. Burns fellow with the Wall Street Journal’s technology bureau in San Francisco. Langer is a young leader of Atlantikbruecke and the American Swiss Foundation. She attended the Henri-Nannen-Journalism school in Hamburg and holds an MBA from the University of Tübingen (Germany).
