This past week, United Way of Coastal Georgia honored Mary by choosing her as representative for the campaign #WomenWhoRule
Women Who Rule is a week-long social media campaign that raises money and awareness to help low-income women find dependable transportation. Funds raised will be used to provide bus passes, gas cards, and minor car repairs to low-income women. Without basic reliable transportation, these women would struggle maintaining independence for their families or themselves. With your help, they are able to find and keep employment, receive health services and affordable childcare, and attend education and life skills training classes.
