Maja Korpi is a graphic designer and video artist based in Stockholm, Sweden. "During the field study at Slemmestad I got interested in the natural destruction of the building and the surroundings. Like cracks in the structure and rusty surfaces. The distractions is like reflections of the past. It tells a story about the former but also the current state which I wanted to elevate during the process. I wanted to give the present (silos) new life through working intentionally with the distractions and give it a new more colorful shape. And thereby tell my story about the silos in Slemmestad," says Maja about her artwork, Using Fields.
