If there was internet in 1900, the most searched topic would be wireless.
Everybody wanted to know when the human voice would be transmitted wirelessly.
We learned that Marconi was the Radio’s Inventor.
Indeed, Marconi transmitted the first radio signals in 1895.
Radio signs, but not the human voice!
Landell made, in 1899, in Brazil, the first public experience of radio wave’s voice transmission
in the human history.
In 1900, Landell transmitted the voice, wirelessly, for 8 Kilometres straight ahead,  in Sao Paulo, South America’s  largest city.
In 1901, after obtaining the radio’s patent in Brazil, Landell went to New York to show his inventions.
In the United States, there were great inventors, like Nicola Tesla, Thomas Edison and Graham Bell.
In N.Y. City Landell got the attention of the scientific community and the press.
On a historic 1902's interview to the New York Herald, Landell was considered as the Wireless Voice Transmitter’s Inventor. 
In 1904, Landell got the voice wireless transmission’s patent in the USA.  

After this achievement,  Landell decides to come back to Brazil.
Back to his Homeland, Landell requested an appointment with the President Rodrigues Alves
He wants to demonstrate his invention by transmitting the voice,  wirelessly, between two navy’s ships.
Asked, at what distance the two ships should stay, Landell answered:
“I need the ships to be at sea, as far away from each other as possible!”
“I must tell you that, in the future, my inventions  may establish interplanetary links!
Nowadays, we know that this is true.
But at that time, Landell was considered to be crazy.
Unfortunately, Brazil missed the opportunity to make  history and science at the telecommunications age.
