Kanoa Igarashi teamed up with Wavegarden's Founder Josema Odriozola to develop a new air section at the R&D Center in Spain. Kanoa wasted no time in executing his full repertoire of airs - while firing constructive feedback to the engineers programming the waves. The air section technologies being developed now will be available in all future commercial facilities - however the sections will be much longer, steeper and bigger. Now residing in Portugal, we look forward to seeing more of Kanoa over the next 12 months, especially in the lead up to the Olympic Games in Japan next year.
