Although we cannot hold an all school Back-to-School Open House this year, we believe that the power of a praying community is far greater than anything else we could do right now. We enter the 2020-21 school year knowing we cannot fully anticipate what to expect, but that God is already in our tomorrows preparing them for us right now. As we approach our first day on Wednesday back on-site, we are eager and feel very excited.

We would like to invite you to take a few moments to pray specifically for our school year (consider coming for a walk around our campus as a family and pray outside somewhere) and then take a selfie photo or video and post it to your social media accounts inviting others to pray as well for our year. Please use the hashtags #welovejcs and #prayforjcs in your post! Consider letting people know what you specifically prayed for. Tag your friends and encourage them to do the same!

Lets surround our school in the power of prayer. Our God controls armies of angels and He is with us. Pray for our students and staff to keep Christ at the center of all we do and what we learn. Pray for the health and safety of all our students and staff. Pray for our school community as we adapt to the current changes so that we can be together and learning on-site. Pray for the Fruit of the Spirit to be values that shine in and through each of us (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control).
