A unique program for girls to introduce them to LEGO Robotics with the work of the most ingenious engineer of all time – Mother Nature! We will build, program, and explore clever robot models of different animals: Birds, Lions, Monkeys,Gorilla, Frogs, Giraffes, Horses, Parrots etc.
Students will learn basics of scratch programming through a drag and drop icon based program. Students will then build LEGO® animal models featuring motors and sensors, program their models through their own code and explore a series of cross-curricular activities such as music & animal sound creation, using LEGO®Education’s premier WeDo® LEGO® robotics program. Each lesson plan will be tied to a craft and art activity related to the animal build.
