Instead 20 designers joined up with the data science community and broke new ground. Together we delivered an intensive Design Sprint, hacking data solutions on the circular economy.” David Kester
Working alongside The Data Lab - Innovation Centre on a challenge from Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, it was incredible to watch 150 students combine Design Thinking and data to come up with such a wide range of inspiring solutions, imagining how Glasgow businesses could become a more ‘circular city’.
Congratulations to the winning from Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh and their initiative ‘Share My Resources’ - an innovative solution for a circular web-based community which promotes education as well as the sharing and re-use of resources/waste.
