The InFish Network (infish.org) is an international collaboration of researchers and practitioners dedicated to raise the global profile of inland fishes to inform policy, advance conservation, and promote sustainable fisheries.

The online meeting of the InFish group on August 24, 2020 included discussion of the effects of the recent Australian bushfires on rivers and their freshwater biodiversity. The presentations were moderated by Lee Baumgartner (Charles Sturt University) and included the following:
1. Mark Lintermans; Recovering threatened fish is not rocket science: it’s harder than that! (starts at ca. 10 minutes in)
2. Katie Doyle; Bushfires and fish impacts in North East Victoria (starts at ca. 22 minutes in)
