Students interested in New Castle's Industrial Electro-Mechanical Technology program will acquire skills in the areas of commercial and industrial electricity, welding, HVAC, pneumatics, hydraulics, gaskets/seals, pumps, plumbing, equipment maintenance, forklift operation, wind power generation, and solar power. Students will also be trained in safety procedures and be familiar with the tools used in an industrial setting. This program equips students with a variety of skills needed to maintain a facility. The skills acquired in the program will be applicable to entry-level positions as Maintenance Mechanics, Maintenance Engineers, and Building Superintendents.
