Gabe Mounce, Director, Space Force Accelerators interviews Devaki Raj and Cliff Massey of CrowdAI about their team’s experience with the Hyperspace Challenge. Through an informal Q&A interview they examine the role Hyperspace Challenge has played in helping the company establish its government network and navigate the government contracting process. Cliff and Devaki also share what the process was like, what was different about it relative to other accelerators (government and/or nongovernment), and provide advice to other prospective cohort teams about how to get the most out of the program and who should apply.

About Devaki Raj
Devaki is CEO and Co-Founder of CrowdAI. She completed her undergraduate and Masters in Statistics at the University of Oxford, and subsequently used her expertise at Google (Maps, Energy and [X] teams) to optimize renewable energy allocation in sub-Saharan Africa. She co-founded CrowdAI in 2016, and has since been named as one of Inc and Forbes' Magazine’s 30 under 30.

About Cliff Massey
Cliff leads Business Operations & Strategy at CrowdAI, helping to lead the company's go-to-market efforts in both the public and private sectors. Prior to joining CrowdAI, he worked in energy policy in California, specifically focusing on developing the U.S. market for renewable hydrogen. Cliff earned a Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California and completed his undergraduate studies at Columbia University.
