Ken Hott: When you compare our technology to the current HID technology that’s used predominantly in the horticulture industry, our product has tremendous success with helping the plants grow faster. Everything runs off 50 or 60 Hz. What that means is what’s powering your devices is cycling 60 times a second. With your eyes, you can’t register that light is blinking, because your eyes don’t refresh that quickly. But plants can pick it up. Instead of 50 Hz or 50 times a second, it can drive at 130,000 teims a second. All our technology does is take the blinking out of the light. When you take the blinking out, you’re using the lamp more efficiently.
