What is it like getting your first traveler?
Well, they'd just traveled four hours to get here, so we showed them their rooms and they showered and went to sleep! The next morning everything changed. We managed to have a brunch and talked about where they had been and whom they had stayed with. I actually new another host that I didnt know hosted! Later that evening we decided to share a meal. So, I learned that not only is hummus not pronunced properly, and its not actually made by "Lisa" (A New Zealand brand) and, its actually so much nicer fresh!
Several guests later, I've picked up a few words and checking up on previous guests.
