What does it take to create a rewarding arts experience online? Join Lauri and co-host Ariel Pisturino (Artistic Director, unSUNg Concerts) and a variety of industry pros from Southern California, as they grapple with the ins and outs of creating a viable online presence for an organization or an individual.
With live performance options so unavailable during the COVID-19 pandemic, performers and presenters are forced to look at new aspects of how the performing arts do (and don't) work in cyberspace, and how to reach audiences who have both more and fewer options now. Which pieces work online? Live performance, or "watch parties" of archived material? What do people need and want to experience now? We'll dive into many of the questions that play into this transition and the learning curve that comes with it all.
