Shot in Sierra Leone in August 2019, this film tells the story of the adults and children who teach and learn with female empowerment charity Girls In Sport. Filmmakers Ollie Smith and Joe Smith spent a week in the town of Makeni, walking the streets and learning about the culture of the country from their guide Umaro during the days, and exploring around the town after dark with their driver Ishmael. It was shot on Sony FS5 and A7S2, using slow shutter speeds and ND/polariser combination to give it a retro, cinematic look and feel.
