This piece explores embodiment and distortion of ballet technique in reaction to a sculptural golden swan- the swan, a symbol of ballet and romantic classicism. It was created for Tampa City Ballet's ERA project in a brief incubation period of exploration in choreographic creation. This footage is from the final in-studio showcase during the process.
