Melissa is a supervising attorney at the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County, a non-profit organization based in West Palm Beach, FL. Her focus is on the Education Advocacy Project, where she mostly works with legal guardians of students, or students that are 18. This project’s main goal is to remove barriers mainly for students of color in public school systems, as well as students in correctional facilities.
