In this video I use the film Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019) to visualize and explain the illusions of the ego. Mysterio is Spider-Man’s ego and he uses illusion technology to control and manipulate Spider-Man into believing in these Elemental monsters only for self gain. He lies to Peter and makes him feel friendly and safe.

But it pushes Peter to wake up to the lies he accepts that always keeps him from love and a normal life. These illusions are projections of this altered ego as itself. We believe in them until we realize who we really are and what we are capable of. This mechanism of the mind helps to make us strong and decisive but it can also be used against us as a weapon against our energy, our love.
