Síntesis.

Inmersxs en el frenesí web, el cerebro se adormece, los sentidos se agudizan y se vuelven livianos. Pareciera que podemos ver lo que nos era invisible, pareciera que sentimos más profundo cada vez que una conexión virtual nos roza le cuerpx.
Estamos hechxs de materia amorfa desconectada de si misma, y a la vez, llevamos la marca de una multitud de formas delimitadas por el contorno de una pantalla blanca y vacía.

Dicen que el tacto es el primer sentido que desarrollamos, el más primitivo y elemental. La yema del dedo adulto tiene mas de cien receptores táctiles y en dos metros cuadrados de piel se acumulan cinco millones de estas terminaciones nerviosas, capaces de interactuar con el entorno y aprenderlo.

"Enlace caído" es un ensayo audiovisual acerca de la dependencia y el excesivo uso de las nuevas tecnologías, que forman parte de nuestra vida cotidiana. ¿Nos reduciremos cada vez más a mostrar mayor motivación con la llegada de un mensaje de texto que con un encuentro real? Las distancias son grandes cuando ponemos en linea nuestrx propio peso del cuerpx frente a un dispositivo electrónico que nos ilumina, hasta enceguecer.
En tiempos de pandemia las distancias se multiplicaron, la pantalla y la interacción virtual se terminaron de instalar como una nueva forma de relacionarnos, una nueva modalidad del afecto, dónde un beso se reduce a unos píxeles coloreados en forma de labios.

No sólo vemos y creemos estar en el comienzo de una nueva forma de existencia sino también exploramos ,semiconscientes, el desapego con la materialidad de lxs cuerpxs.

Immersed in the web frenzy, the brain goes numb, the senses sharpen and become light. It seems that we can see what was invisible to us, it seems that we feel deeper every time a virtual connection brushes against our bodies.
We are made of amorphous matter disconnected from itself, and at the same time, we carry the mark of a multitude of forms delimited by the outline of an empty white screen.

They say that touch is the first sense that we develop, the most primitive and elemental. The adult fingertip has more than one hundred touch receptors and five million of these nerve endings accumulate in two square meters of skin, capable of interacting with and learning about the environment.

"Enlace fallen" is an audiovisual essay about dependency and excessive use of new technologies, which are part of our daily lives. Will we reduce ourselves more and more to showing more motivation with the arrival of a text message than with a real meeting? The distances are great when we put our own body weight in line in front of an electronic device that illuminates us, until it blinds us.
In times of pandemic, distances multiplied, the screen and virtual interaction were installed as a new way of relating, a new modality of affection, where a kiss is reduced to pixels colored in the shape of lips.

We not only see and believe that we are at the beginning of a new form of existence, but we also explore, semi-consciously, the detachment with the materiality of the bodies.
