In June 2019, the Engage! Foundation partnered with the Baha Mar to support the Disabled Persons Organization of the Bahamas. A cross-disability non-profit organization, the DPO has striven for 30 years to empower the disabled community in the Bahamas to become more skilled and independent through education and training, economic empowerment, social development, and integration of persons with disabilities in society. Our pack with purpose program collected a wide range of talking aids and accessories including talking watches, calculators and kitchen and bathroom aids.

Before our gala Engage! attendees and members of the DPO gathered in the Baha Mar Art Gallery to play with various art mediums including painting, printmaking, and stenciling. During our party we presented our supplies to their association president so that all DPO members could receive the gifts.
