The project is a reflection and celebration of the highly evolved elements of our biology that have enabled the healthy lives that most of us have the privilege to experience, yet many of us take for granted. Each one of us is a breathtakingly complex system that has taken millions of years to engineer. It is almost miraculous that as humans we exist at all, let alone exist NOW when scientific knowledge and technological development are at their most advanced.

The Elemental Human celebrates this coming together of biology and science with a series of 12 holograms. Each hologram is showcases a critical element paying homage to its unique role and importance. When displayed together they become a powerful reminder that we are complex systems where every element is vital and everything is connected.
