Just as we're finally beginning to crack the stigma & encourage people to seek help for mental illnesses, here comes ol' Dougie swinging his axe.

He'll pay hundreds of millions of dollars, possibly as much as two billion, to pay penalties by breaking green energy contracts - for no good reason; pay penalties & spend government money on lawyers to break a Beer Store contract that he could have let expire for free; give money to his rich buddies in the horse racing industry. How does he pay for it all?

By cutting essential health & education services which actually enrich & improve the lives of Ontarians. He's done it to the Autism community, the poor relying on social services and now he's taking a swing of his axe to cut OHIP-funded Psycotherapy. Once again, ol' Dougie taking a whack at people in need.

Psycotherapy not only improves the lives of those with mental illness, but their friends, family, co-workers, communities, employers and Ontario's economy. It's also very expensive to pay for out-of-pocket and many people with mental illness can't afford treatment without OHIP support.
