This is a documentation of my paintings in the virtual space through a mimicking of handheld filming technique. By multiply the time of 3D-scanning these original paintings in the physical space, I replicated these artworks to devalue their unique existence in a particular space and then revalue them through filming in AR experience. As Walter Benjamin argues in The Work of Art in the Age of Its Technological Reproducibility, “to photograph a painting is one kind of reproduction, but to photograph an action performed in a film studio is another.” (Cambridge: Harvard University Press, 2008), 29.) The act of producing is not defined as a reproduction and in which the images obtained have been assembled according to a new law in the continuous field captured by the camera.
