Board President Olson: Welcome back to a new school year. Our Board of Education wanted to give you a special greeting to welcome you to this new year.

Secretary Anderson: Welcome back Team DPS. We are excited to welcome all of you back to our district. And we're excited to put our students first.

Vice President Bacon: Welcome back Team DPS, Denver Strong! We know that we've got this. We do it together, and I can't wait to get started in working with you.

Director Baldermann: Welcome to all of our staff, our teachers, our paraprofessionals, our educational service providers. You mean the world to us, and all of our students in Denver Public Schools.

Treasurer Cobian: Bienvenidos a todos for the 2020-21 school year and thank you for all of the work that you've done so far, and all of the work that you will do. We're all in it together.

Director Laurvick: We know this year is different. And we know that together we're going to make it through and do something amazing together as a community for each and every one of our students in the entire Denver community.

Director O'Brien: Welcome back everyone. We all have a unique role to play but we're stronger as a collective. So it's great to be part of Team DPS.

I'm so thrilled to be a part of Team DPS. When I walked into my first classroom at Mitchell Elementary School in 1985, I had no idea I was about to begin the most rewarding experience of my professional life: teaching in DPS. I'm so excited that you're all here and traveling on this journey with us. While there's so much uncertainty ahead, I'm confident that the dedication and the love that we all have for public education and our community will get us through this difficult time - as we are stronger together. Thank you for all you do every day for our students, and welcome back.
