Fresh from premiering her latest dance work, this week’s guest, choreographer Vanessa Brazeau, contributes insightful thoughts on the importance of time, growth, and discovery through the creative process.

Guest biography
After graduating from The School of Toronto Dance Theatre in 2015, Vanessa fell in love with European contemporary dance and went to all the festivals possible to bring her knowledge back to the dance community in Montréal. From Deltebre Danza in Spain and B12 in Germany, to a summer intensive in Portugal and One Small Step in Greece, she has trained with dance masters like David Zambrano, Rakesh Sukesh, Tony Vezich, James O’hara, Francisco Cordova, and Luke Murphy.
Vanessa dances for many independent artists in Montréal and is now creating her own work. Her last piece, inspired by the book Le Petit Prince and created for seven dancers, is being presented this summer in different cities of Quebec.
