This is my video submission for the application process for the Masters in Music Therapy at NYU. I'm a 2nd generation cellist with over 20 years of experience working in the music industry. I am a teacher, performer and composer. I was drawn to the program at NYU after learning about the professors who teach in the program and their careers. I am also interested in the certification that NYU offers and its association with the American Music Therapy Association. Lastly, I am interested in exploring the cello and its unique role as a music therapy asset.
