A live paper project using G.F Smith's Colorplan paper.
This deconstructable sculpture was created using a simple modular origami technique. It aims to re-envoke the nostalgic practice of making daisy chains that many of my generation experienced in our childhood. Each petal on the paper daisies is printed with the instructions to the origami method- it is intended for viewers to take one and try to create their own origami, therefore further spreading this joyful, tactile practice into the community.
