While art and culture have always been core to the
human existence, technology has rapidly become a
significant modern force in shaping the way we live.
This year’s Art Tech project, “MAN-MADE,”
features a selection of art pieces from six Chinese
artists. Each piece leverages contemporary tech in
reimagining traditional art forms and aesthetics,
expressing the depth of Chinese classical artistic
traditions and philosophies while stretching what’s
possible with the application of modern digital
techniques. The result is a multi-sensory artistic
exploration that enriches our ties to our past and
through it, our cultural identity; it is at once a nod
to our roots and a glimpse into our tech-driven
future.

《道生一》置於香港科技園創科體驗館的第二展區「創科大道」，是一件多媒體裝置藝術，以中國哲
學的角度探索人類與宇宙之間的關係。 藝術家 洪強 以中國道家「一」(即萬物之始)的概念為創作靈
感，運用互動軟件程式捕捉觀眾的舉動，再投射在象徵無盡時空的一整列白色拱門上，演譯人類生命
與天地萬物的循環關係。此藝術品闡述萬事萬物恆常在變，並體現出 單一創新意念的無窮潛能，推
陳出新。

"Dao Sheng Yi" is popular in the second exhibition area of the Hong Kong Science and
Technology Park Innovation and Technology Experience Hall, "Innovation and Technology
Avenue". It is a multimedia installation that explores the relationship between mankind and the
universe from the perspective of Chinese philosophy. The concept of "one" (that is, the
beginning of all things) is the inspiration for creation. The artistic interactive software program
captures the demonstration of celestial phenomena, and then projects them on a white arch in
endless time and space to interpret the circular relationship between human life and all things
on the earth. Appreciate everything and everything is constantly changing, and show the endless
illusion of new business ideas, and bring forth the new.

"Tao Sheng Yi”( Dao Gives Birth to ONE)
is placed in the second exhibition area "Innovation and Technology Avenue" of the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park Innovation and Technology Experience Hall. It is a multimedia installation art that explores the relationship between mankind and the universe from the perspective of Chinese philosophy. The artist Dr. HUNG Keung uses the concept of "One" (the beginning of all things) in Chinese Taoism as his creative inspiration. He uses interactive software programs to capture the actions of the audience, and then projects them on a series of white arches that symbolize endless time and space, interpreting human life and the universe. The circular relationship. This artwork illustrates that everything is constantly changing, and reflects the infinite potential of a single innovative idea, bringing forth the new.
