I want you to hear it from me: when times get tough, it is time to trust the experts and Cumberland is very fortunate to have many on our team.

During this COVID-19 pandemic, I have a daily briefing with our Public Safety personnel include our Chiefs Pliakas (EMS), Anderson (Fire), and Desmarais (Police, EMA). Also involved in these meetings are our EMS Fellows who act as the Medical Directors to the Department.

Cumberland is in good hands. We’re learning more each day and we all need to stay vigilant and to continue to subscribe to the directives set forth.

I will continue to update you throughout this time with videos on specific topics. Tomorrow, I will be highlighting some food outreach that the Town will be coordinating for those experiencing food insecurity during this time.
