The EPSON showroom entrance hall was permanently installed for a limited time with a projection mapping performance by artist MASARU OZKAI.
The world that unfolds through the "Gate of Light" based on the theme of a crystal oscillator is a world where light particles are transformed into lines and surfaces, and space begins to come into view. Is it real or virtual? By confronting the contradictions and errors that can occur there, the dot-like energy regains its balance and builds a place where people gather and a door of imagination that leads to the future. It seemed to suggest "a new world connected to the future".

When we asked Mr. MASARU OZAKI about the production, he said, "This time, I did all the CG modeling, animation, mapping, and of course, measurement and adjustment all by myself. The projection mapping on the front wall has a resolution of 4K and is linked to the lighting projection on the table tops. A total of 6K resolution video was controlled by the media server. The main production time was about 3 months, so we shortened the rendering time by connecting to an overseas server and running parallel processing. Thanks to the latest technology, I didn't have much time to sleep.

Is it now possible for just one person to produce this kind of content? Or is it his talent?

He says, "I was able to create this projection mapping video content all by myself because of the hard work of Epson employees, agency staff, and my manager, who managed the production process and worked very hard behind the scenes. Because of that, I was able to focus on the production, and I'm really grateful for that. (Excerpts from the interview.)
