Our action plan for continued service:

As your property management company, we want you to know that your health and safety is our primary concern. Please note the following:
• We are fully operational.
• Our technology allows us to work from home.
• Our offices are closed to the public until further notice.

We don’t see any major issues with maintaining solid delivery of property management services and support for the duration of the current situation.

Most of our services including maintenance requests, emergency procedures and making payments are available via our website and web-portal at imperialproperties.ca

Many have reached out to let us know they are or will be in need of financial assistance. If you are unable to work and unable to apply for EI, there are a few streams available for people to take advantage of. These include:
1. Emergency Care Benefit – allowing those who apply to receive up to $900 bi weekly
2. Temporary increase to GST + Child Care Benefit cheques
3. Tax filing deferral to June 1st and tax payment deferrals

Finally, Canadian banks have announced that they will be allowing mortgage payment deferrals for up to six months. Please contact your banking institution to see if this is an option for you and what other options they may be offering.
