The purpose of the Rural Online Initiative (ROI) Pilot Program is to provide Utah's rural workforce and businesses with education, training, and services for online opportunities in remote employment, freelance work, and e-commerce. This session introduces the free Master Remote Work Certificate program from USU Extension. The month-long course teaches participants skills they need to effectively work from home, communicate with remote team members, find and interview for a legitimate remote job, find an online freelance gig or start their own online business. Additional skills and training scholarships are available as well. This program is sponsored by Utah State University Extension.
