There's a number of models out there to help people to achieve their goals. The one we like to use in NLP is Well Formed Outcomes. I particularly like the NLP model for the very reason that it includes ecology. It makes sure that if you are achieving a goal that it fits in with the rest of your life because very often we get enthusiastic about achieving goals, but we don't really place them in the right context. One of the things that I like about NLP coaching is that we check for that ecology.
