Crawford, Murphy & Tilly (CMT) contracted with Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T) researchers to evaluate the before-and-after conditions of a proposed roadway design of Route 160 in southwest Missouri. The purpose of the study was to evaluate the functionality, effectiveness, and safety of the roadway design prior to implementation. This was accomplished using a student-created driving simulator at Missouri S&T’s campus in Rolla, MO.
