Welcome to our Centennial video series where we honor the past, celebrate the present, and reimagine the future of CMC. We invite you to reimagine the future with us! Watch all three videos in the series, as they are released during our Centennial year 2021–2022, at sfcmc100.org.

100 Years & Growing is the story of CMC as a home for arts access now and in the future. The film follows three people from the CMC community who share their first memories of CMC and their hopes and wishes for CMC’s future. Through their words, we learn about the City’s first transgender, intersex, and genderqueer community chorus, which CMC launched in 2017; New Voices Bay Area TIGQ Chorus. We hear anecdotes of the resiliency of the CMC community during COVID-19, rejoicing in the return of in-person learning. The film is an invitation to be hopeful for the future of arts access in the Bay Area as CMC breaks ground on its Campus Expansion Project, building new spaces to enhance tuition-free programs and enabling CMC to launch new programs that address critical community needs.
