Rasmus is a self taught apprentice tattoo artist. Internet culture has made a DIY approach to learning the craft more accessible to queer folks were tattooing is becoming more and more prevalent within queer communities.

Tattooing is not only an art form but it can help to create spaces for us to question and be curious about our identities as queer/trans/gnc people. Our experiences are a multitude of identities and tattoos can help claim autonomy of our own bodies. It’s the queerest thing to alter our own form. It empowers us and helps us to quiet the fear of being visibly queer or trans in public.

Rasmus Eo Clarke wants to try and curate a safe space where queer people can feel comfortable in a space that is traditionally dominated by cis males and the hetro-norm. To feel comfortable exposing our bodies to another to be modified and have the honour to be a part of that experience.
