In the world today, our students and their families are bombarded daily with the sad news of a worldwide pandemic, a polarizing political divide, and stark racism. These obstacles have led to students feeling isolated, marginalized, and inadequate. Imagine a world where all of these problems do not exist. Students learn collectively, dismantle the false narratives about people of color, and learn to think as they hone 21st-century skills to reach higher and achieve more. Cen10's Innov8 Series - Cen10's Innov8 Series is born from the idea that constraints breed innovation! The mission of the series is to diversify our current curriculums by building connections with people of color in S.T.E.M. education to impact, influence, and inspire. Cen10's Innov8 Series will help improve our students' lives by connecting them to people of color who work in the STEM field. Participants will be able to listen to the stories of our speakers, overcoming obstacles, and interact with them during the presentation.
