Hey friend! Checking in from my corner of the internet. I have needed a little reminder of my 'why' the past few days. And as the cancelations and postponements persist, I have felt it heavily. A pile of old hard drives sits on my kitchen table like planes in an aircraft junk yard. Hundreds of first looks, processionals, toasts, twirls, tears, thrilling excitement, painful boredom, and even dog walks lying dormant.
We are event producers, experience shamans, memory guardians. Physical closeness is our business, nay, science. And right now, our collective dorsal fin is curled over in captivity while we embrace the uncertainty surrounding our businesses. But back to those pesky hard drives/paperweights. I dove deep into them to find my favorite memories of working with you... in case like me, you need a little nudge once in a while. Like, "hey, pssst, you're a magician, remember?"
Covid-19 might change how we do things, but it won’t change what we do; nothing can. I love you. We will be back.
