Last week I shared the story of an up-and-coming executive who got the sack on a Friday afternoon. While his separation was through no fault of his own, it was nonetheless devastating.
As I share this story, lawyers, bankers, accountants, truck drivers, drill press operators all nod as if they understand, but all the while thinking – this could never happen to me.
