NRF Project Overview:

SAP & Microsoft were looking for a unique interactive experience that would wow visitors at the 2020 National Retail Foundation conference (NRF). Britelite was asked to come up with a non-traditional form of interaction to break through the noise of the other conference presenters. We were able to use projected capacitive sensors to create pixel accurate touch zones on an otherwise ordinary fabricated wall. We then projected the experiential layer over the drywall and the buttons that we created triggered different facets of the SAP & Microsoft story. Visitors were able to interact with four different brand stories without ever engaging with traditional displays, giving users a look at what could be the retail interactivity of the future.

Results:

Visitors were immediately drawn to the installation and the booth drew larger crowds than any other installation on the floor. SAP and Microsoft were able to have conversations about how their technologies can be implemented into retail space and demonstrate their forward-thinking use of technology to an eager audience. The show was an overwhelming success and the brand team is looking to deploy similar experiences at several other trade shows over the 2020 season.
