Malý chlapec nemůže spát, protože má chuť na sladké. Pokradmu se vplíží do světnice staré čarodějnice. Počká, až usne, a sní bonbon schovaný ve skleněné truhličce. Netušil však, že byl vyroben z ptačího lektvaru. Narostou mu křídla a uletí oknem.
Magický příběh je vyprávěn bez použití magických triků a kouzel, pokud nepočítáme laboratorní proces filmové technologie.

A small boy can´t sleep, he has a sweet tooth. He sneaks into an old witch´s kitchen. He waits until she falls asleep and eats a bonbon hidden in a glass chest box. However, he had no idea that the bonbon was made of a bird´s potion. The wings grow on his back and he flies out of the window.
The magic story is narrated without the use of magic tricks, not counting the laboratory proces of a film technology.
