This is a 2-D video of the 3-D virtual reality experience "Blitz Kid," part of the proposed VR series "The Children's History Project." The aim of this series is to allow students in grades 3-7 to "walk into" images of children from the past and learn about their lives via their own words, removing the adult/authority figure and allowing child-to-child learning.
The narration for this video was scripted from actual letters and diary entries written by children who were evacuated from London during the Blitz of WWII. Please forgive my terrible Brit accent -- which somehow came out more Australian than anything else!
