This is a selection of the movies that were presented at S.E.A, Science Encounters Art, at the Isle of Texel. For this project I collaborated with NIOZ researchers Henk Bolhuis and Michele Grego. The results were presented in an exhibition called BIOFILM at Ecomare. We made time lapses and movies of the thin layer of organisms that inhabit the microbial mats and other biofilms that can be found in the snd and mud around the coast of the Waddenzee in the Netherlands.
