I love practicing yoga at Unplug and Be Mindful, and when I saw the postings about Beyond Asana I decided to sign up in hopes of deepening my overall yoga practice and establishing a meditation routine. I knew I would be learning more about yoga, but I had no idea how much I would learn about myself in the process.

Melissa is a wonderful teacher - passionate and knowledgeable. Classes were relaxed and fun, and the time flew by. Unexpected “extras” were included with the cost of the class, including a customized Ayurvedic health assessment and a Vedic reading with a well known astrologer. I have learned so much over the past several months, and I am so grateful to have had the experience. My goals have been met and so much more. After years of trying I am finally benefitting from a regular meditation practice (and loving it!), and have a much better understanding of why we do what we do during yoga class. This class inspired me to create a space in my home that is just mine, where I can meditate, read and journal in peace. I can honestly say taking this class has improved not just my yoga practice, but my life overall.
