Candice Thum (nee Reed) was conceived at the Royal Women's Hospital through IVF in 1979 and was born on 23 June 1980. Candice's birth was a huge milestone for science and fertility - both nationally and globally. Now living a private life with a family of her own overseas, she wanted to share a message with staff at the Women's to recognise the special place in her heart that she has for the our hospital.
