Welcome to this week's episode of "Ask the Bishop" - a summer video series from the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina just for kids! This week, Bishop Sam discusses the age of God, the education of Jesus, shares his favorite saint, and teaches us why we celebrate (today!) the feast of St. James.

Each week, the Rt. Rev. Sam Rodman, bishop of the Diocese of North Carolina, answers the questions on the minds of children, whether it's about God, the Bible, the wider world or anything else.

Want to submit a question for future episodes? Just send it to [email protected].
You can:
1. Simply send the question from the child you're helping
2. Have the child write the question (or draw a picture), take a photo of the drawing, and send it to us
3. Record a short video of the child asking their question and send it to us.
However you send us the question, please be sure to include the child's first name and age.

(NOTE: Since this series is intended for children ages 12 and younger, all submissions on behalf of the children must be done with parental/guardian permission. When parental/guardian permission is granted, it is with the understanding that the child's question, artwork or image will be used for the video series, which may be shared on any and all diocesan communications channels, including social media.)
