We often find ourselves surrounded in the company of friends and family members and at most times we pay more attention to our phones than having human interacting. My performance illustrates the disconnection between human beings as technology slowly creeps up and severs our humanity. One issue that I discovered is where I would film my performance however a couch was the best stage for this project because a couch is meant to be a place where people talk and interact with each other, however it doesn't always feel like it. A successful element I see here is the portrayal of the characters and how they zone out the other members on the couch.
