MPS art teachers, students, and community supporters held an art build at the union office today to print and paint banners for their organizing effort to pass a policy at the School Board level to improve the districts art program. We got to interview Milwaukee Sign Language School Art Teacher Liz Meyer to hear about the group's plans to win an increase in funding, put an art teacher in every school, and ensure students receive the time in the art room they deserve!
